New pistons, rings, springs, collars, valves lapped, jugs honed, heads polished up front and back.
Love the positive/ negative look shining up the heads produced. I really want to take her down to bare metal and leave it that way. She just has that old look, that rat look
Took hours and hours to shine the rocker boxes by hand. I spent it in sessions working areas and then come back do another area progressively moving along.
So far all good one of the tappets came loose first ride reset them and good now. Actually went through whole series of messing with the tappets this whole time. I didn't realize it at first that it was symetrical rather than 1 2, 1 2 it is 1 2 2 1. She was running that way idk how. Sound changed now, that Getty up in the sound comes out when it's running at speed like its galloping lol
