ironhead 77 led

Got a couple of Harley lights. This old iron is dark at night. I wated to help be more visable. I had already wired the radio in before, so I went and bought another 5amp switch. Ran it off the key, placing it just below the radio switch.

Worked well for a while. The bike rattles so much never clear image unless idling. I ride through everything so these turned out to not be waterproof. They fried after a couple water rides. I had gotten 2 to have a back up and I was replacing the first one only month or so after I got them. The vibration of the bike rattled the leads off the board inside the first one. I tried to solder it back together and it worked for a while tho i hot glued the board to try and water proof it and in doing so the head created by the board and the hot glue and the vibration ripped the board to pieces by the time it bured out and I went to open it.

The second one I tried to just tape it up and keep it protected yet it also rattled apart and fried the board. I have to find new ones now. These were the car door ground lights Least I wasn't drilling into the door frame. lol I cut the leads and taped the switch for now I may buy the same ones. I think with a good solder right away and then some hot glue running the wire case seam so it can still cool properly may last a while.
