Out for a ride all day. 30 degreese out. Running good. Lil shaky starting,(mostly from letting the bike cool??) get home to notice fire shooting out the pipes again. Grabbed my camera gave her a few twists. I'm not sure what's up with it now. Last time it shot fire was only the from the one pipe and found later the piston had a crack in her. This goes into the carb setting and that it may be a 1977 Keihin carb Tho for the past few months it has been running at the 1978 Keihin carb airscrew setting 1/2. Is this the bike saying it should be at the 1977 Keihin carb airscrew setting 7/8. As when I first got it it did run at the 7/8's setting Ever since went through and rebuilt most of the top end, haven't been able to get it to run again at that 1977 Keihin carb 7/8 air screw. I Had figured it was a 1978 Keihin carb and ran it at 1/2 airscrew. I'm just praying its not the pistons or valves again. I don't run her lightly I take her through all the octaves. Still ramping away just these flames now. Hate to wrench in the cold.
She seemed to pop and spit till I pull the choke to the warm up. Then start to pop and spit again telling me to close the choke. Had not had a pronounced symbol from the bike before this that it was warmed up.
Not too sure whats going on with it. Have to test her out later on. Could be the dynamic timing slipped tho it looks like still in the same place. Time for another adventure into the engine.... Please Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
